Ever tried Get-rich-quick schemes? It’s not gonna happen! Find out why.

Zoobie The Internet Marketing Newbie (Episode 1)

I love this video. :)

I remember when I was 16 or 17 (I am only 21 now), I used to search the Internet for get-rich-quick schemes. Not that I am intentionally searching for such unscrupulous schemes but I was looking for fast money. I had about 150US for pocket allowance and that is barely enough for food, and I'm saying this because I live in Singapore where everything is as expensive as the States.

I started researching about Internet Marketing and enrolled into this program called Six-Figure Income (SFI). Honestly, I have not found out if this program is a scam or not. The thing about the SFI program is that it focuses on Affiliate Marketing and it gives you very superficial instructions on how to generate free traffic. I gave up on the program because I was not making money, not to mention that SFI was completely free. Since then, I stayed away from such programs. I avoided similiar sites, sites with loads of testimonials which I so often doubt if they are legitimate.

I then began o delve in Paid-to-Surf programs and HYIPs. The thing that amazes about these programs is that everyone who participates in them acknowledges that they are scams. They jump into the opportunity as soon as it starts and pull out after a week or two. Late-comers are often careless victims of these schemes. I lost a few hundred bucks in these opportunities but i refused to give up. Maybe it was a matter of pride.

After that, I totally gave up on the Internet. Instead, I concentrated on making money 'legitimately' i.e giving tuition classes and earning about 600US a month. A few weeks ago, I was looking into buying my own vehicle. Vehicles here sells in ten thousands and hundred thousands and I thought to myself, do I want to settle for a 4-figure income after I graduate from my degree program? I don't. I want to live comfortably and travel when I want to. I began reading work at home forums and found positive ravings about Profit Lance and decided to give it a shot. Afterall, if it was skills I will be acquiring, I don't see how I will be wasting my money. Even though I am not making money with this course yet, I remain confident that I will.
